Downloading VITOCUDA


The following options exist for downloading VITOCUDA. More information is available on the subset of implicit style behavioral Verilog supported by VITO, configuring VITO/VITOCUDA, and using VITOCUDA.

VITOCUDA is available only for UNIX-like environments, such as Linux or cygwin.

The source code includes a makefile and is written in C. To compile VITOCUDA requires a C compiler and the language tools flex and Bison. VITOCUDA uses UNIX script tools, like sed, to transform the source code into a form that a modified version of VITO is able to compile.  Assuming your computer has these (as Linux and cygwin usually do), it is easy to install.  For example, to install version 3.1, after downloading the vitocuda31.tar.gz file, you need to gunzip vitocuda31.tar.gz followed by tar -xf vitocuda31.tar .   Then do cd vitocuda31 followed by make; optionally you may test your installation with ./testinstall.

Some browsers will not download with the proper the filename, i.e., the file appears with a .tar.tar extension rather an the .tar.gz.  For example, to download version 3.1 with such a browser, you need to do mv vitocuda31.tar.tar vitocuda31.tar.gz prior to the above steps.
